At exactly 11:11 am, Maddock Films unveiled the much-talked-about World of Thama—a bloody love story that blends horror with romance in an entirely new way. Backed by producer Dinesh Vijan, who earlier delivered hits like Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya, this marks the first love story set in the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film features a powerhouse cast including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, alongside Faisal Malik and Geeta Agrawal. The makers described the film with the line: Never was fear this powerful, and never was love this bloody! promising audiences a unique Diwali spectacle.
Fresh posters released on Monday showcased Ayushmann, Rashmika, and Nawazuddin in intriguing new looks, hinting at a twisted tale of passion and darkness. Rashmika, stepping into her first horror-comedy, surprised fans with a bold transformation. Meanwhile, Nawazuddin stunned in his fierce avatar as Yakshasan – Andhere ka Badshah, teasing a villainous yet captivating role.
The teaser and posters together have intensified curiosity, making Thama one of the most awaited films of 2025. With its promise of combining dark humor, horror, and romance, the film aims to push the boundaries of storytelling within the genre.
