An inhumane incident took place in an apartment complex in the city where a 25-year-old female security guard was forced to drink dirty water from a swimming pool. He was sent to an apartment on Devarachikkanahalli road in Bommanahalli for work. She was put in charge of the swimming pool area. A resident of the apartment complex who had come to use the pool screamed after seeing the dirty water. She said she was on security duty and had nothing to do with pool management. This time he asked the security guard to drink the dirty water from the pool in a bottle. Unable to bear the shame, the female staff left the job and filed a complaint against the accused Akash at the Bommanahalli police station. In her police complaint, the victim, a resident of Hongasandra, stated that the incident took place on June 14 around 11.30 am. They also alleged that they closed the gate of the swimming pool and prevented them from leaving the place. The incident came to light after the victim complained to Security Supervisor Anikesh Chakraborty and Maintenance Manager Mallikarjun. It is said that Chakraborty and Mallikarjun, when questioned about Akash’s rude behavior, asked him to drink dirty water. The complainant said that the accused insulted her for no reason. He informed the manager about the matter and promised to bring it to the notice of the residents’ welfare association officials, said a police officer.
