Vande Bharat Express running between Bengaluru- Dharwad was successfully run on June 19 and will start running on June 27. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give green signal to the train from Dharwad railway station virtually. The train will operate on all days except every Tuesday. The train service starts from Yeshavantpur railway station in Bangalore and stops only at Davangere in between. The Vande Bharat train will reduce the travel time between Bangalore and Dharwad, reaching the destination in around seven hours.
The Vande Bharat train running between Bangalore and Dharwad currently has 8 coaches with 530 seats. This train covers a distance of 489 km at a speed of 110 km per hour. South Western Railway officials said that the number of coaches will be increased according to passenger preference.
