It is essential to obtain several permissions from central government on inter-state water dispute. Concerned departments have been instructed to make suitable preparations. In this connection, will meet the Union Jal Shakthi minister during first week of April, said CM Basavaraj Bommai.

All sorts of efforts should be made to resolve inter-state water disputes quickly. We must seek legal solutions from the courts.
First, discussions will be held with the Union Minister regarding the inter-state water dispute. If necessary, an all-party delegation would be taken, CM said.
The land acquisition process for the railway projects would be settled with priority, he said.
Planned development of the state:
Development has now begun as we have overcome the Covid pandemic. Foundation will be laid to develop the state strategically, said CM Basavaraja Bommai.
Emphasis on investment
Emphasis has been placed on attracting land identification, development and investment as announced in the Budget for Industry. Of these, more emphasis has been placed on North Karnataka, he said.
More importance has been placed on the empowerment of women in the budget. The guidelines are being framed. It is ordered to set up of secondary Directorate of Agriculture, which will start at the earliest, he said.
All activities required for the implementation of the Budget Programs will be provided within April 30. The committee headed by the chief secretary for implementation of budget programmes will be given the apporpriate order in this regard. Every month the functioning of the committee and progress will be reviewed, Bommai said.
Decision has already been taken in the Supervisory board to set up Jayadeva Heart Hospital in Hubli. In this connection, Deputy Commissioner has been instructed to identify the land for the project. After completion of this task construction will be taken up. Kidwai Hospital in Belagavi will also be started simultaneously, he said.
An amount of 3000 crore is provided for development of Kalyan Karnataka and work orders will be released during April for implementation. An amount Rs 1400 crore has been released this year, Bommai said.
