Minister for Large and Medium Industries M B Patil has said that a probe will be conducted into the PSI scam, 40 per cent scam and covid-19 scam committed by the previous BJP government in the state.
Speaking to media persons during his visit to Gavimatha on Saturday, he said, we have worked for the implementation of the guarantee scheme since the day we came to power till date. But from now on, we will be busy investigating the scams committed by the BJP when it was in power, he said. Jagadish Shettar and Lakshman Savadi, who left the BJP and joined the Congress, will be given a suitable position in the party. He said the high command will take a decision on Jagadish Shettar contesting the Lok Sabha elections.
Steel factories in the district are causing damage to the environment. When asked if he would take any action, the minister said that action will be taken in this regard. A lot of factories are functioning in Koppal. All of them should join hands in providing good education and health to the poor children of this region. He assured that he would be notified as industries minister in this regard.
The land so far reserved for industries should be used. Appropriate action will be taken against those who have not used it so far. Minister MB Patil said he has asked officials to provide information by the 10th of this month.
