Bomb Call To Reserve Bank Office: Youth Arrested

A young man has been arrested by the Vidhana Soudha police station on the charge of making a false call to the police control room (112) saying that a bomb has been planted in the Reserve Bank of India office in the city. Vaibhav Bhagwan, a resident of Rajarajeshwari Nagar, was arrested and called the police control room from his mobile phone in the wee hours. According to the officials, Vidhana Soudha police, who registered an FIR and investigated the matter based on the complaint given by the control room PSI, traced the accused based on the mobile number from which the call was received. Vaibhav, who is studying B.Com in a private college, lives with his parents. He has been receiving medical treatment for mental illness for five years. The accused called the city police control room at 2:40 AM on Thursday and a bomb exploded at the Reserve Bank of India in Bangalore. Called to check immediately and hung up. Immediately, the control room staff informed the central division police about this. Acting on this information, when the police went to the RBI office on Nripatunga Road in the city and checked, it came to know that it was a fake call. Officials said that an investigation was conducted based on the complaint of PSI of the control room.
