Nayanthara in talks to play the female lead in Gentleman 2

Few months back, it was announced that the sequel of the 1993 Tamil film ‘Gentleman’ will soon start its pre-production work. It was then announced that music composer MM Keervani will be working on the project. The film is titled ‘Gentleman 2’ and now, the new update is that the movie makers are reportedly in talks with Nayanthara to play the female lead in the movie.
Featuring Arjun and Madhubala, ‘Gentleman’ was released in 1993 and it was a super hit. Now, nearly three decade the second movie titled ‘Gentleman 2’ is set to be delivered. The pre-production of the movie work is reportedly going on, and the movie makers have approached actress Nayanthara to play the female lead in the film. There has been no official announcement yet. The rest of the cast and crew of the film is also yet to be decided. Even the director of the movie has not been finalized yet.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara is awaiting the release of the film ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha. The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan.
