The Mollywood actor Siju Wilson will be seen taking up the role of a priest character named Ebychan in his upcoming movie ‘Varayan’. Recently the makers announced the release date of the film which is set for May 20 this year. Siju Wilson took to his official Instagram handle to unveil the new poster for ‘Varayan’ and penned a note that read, “Varayan. My next as Ebychan. Releasing in theatres on May 20th, 2022.”
Earlier the makers unveiled the character look poster from the movie featuring Siju Wilson as the priest named Fr. Eby Capuchin. The poster hints that Siju Wilson’s priest character will have some dark shades to it and the story will also have some thriller elements. Adding up to this fact, the tagline of ‘Varayan’ reads ‘Terror behind the smile’. The expectation levels for ‘Varayan’ is high among the audience as the posters looks promising.
Helmed by the debutant Jijo Joseph, the script of ‘Varayan’ is penned down by Danny Capuchin. Actress Leona Lishoy will be seen playing the role of the female lead in the film. Rajeesh Raman is roped in as the cinematographer for ‘Varayan’, whereas Johnkutty will handle the editing section. Prakash Alex is roped in as the music composer for the film.
‘Varayan’ has an ensemble of talented cast that includes Jude Anthany, Joy Mathew, Maniyanpilla Raju, Vijayaraghavan, and Aristo Suresh.
Meanwhile, Siju Wilson is aiming high for the year 2022 by playing the lead role in the epic drama film ‘Pathombatham Noottandu’ directed by Vinayan, and several other films such as ‘Mareechan’ and ‘Third World Boys’.
