The MY Bharat platform has evolved into a massive digital hub, providing over 1.52 lakh youth volunteering opportunities
NEW DELHI
India’s mega youth initiative, the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) platform, has officially transformed into a massive digital hub for the nation’s young population. By June 2026, the portal has successfully rolled out over 1.52 lakh volunteering opportunities, aiming to eventually empower 100 million young citizens.
Launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, this single digital interface bridges the gap between educational hubs, government offices, and industries. It offers youth direct access to community service, including cleanliness drives, blood donations, and disaster response. “MY Bharat places our young generation at the very absolute center of nation-building,” the government stated.
The initiative has triggered massive civic pride. Campaigns like ‘MY Bharat MY Vote’ successfully educated first-time voters about their constitutional rights. Furthermore, special events like the Nari Shakti Youth Parliament engaged over 7,000 young women in democratic dialogues.
By gathering over 6,000 driven individuals at the recent Youth Convention, the government continues to fuel the dreams of the “Amrit Peedhi” to achieve the grand Viksit Bharat@2047 vision.
