Government focuses on upgrading healthcare facilities and improving emergency services in Kalyana Karnataka.
In a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the Kalyana Karnataka region, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced that 32 new ambulances equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will be dedicated to public service on Wednesday. The move aims to strengthen emergency medical services and ensure timely treatment for people across the region.
Highlighting the government’s initiatives over the past two years, the Chief Minister said several projects have been implemented to improve the health status of residents in Kalyana Karnataka. Alongside the addition of new ambulances, the administration has prioritized infrastructure development, including the construction of a well-equipped hospital with modern facilities, upgrading of existing buildings, and the transformation of health centers and taluk-level hospitals into district-level institutions.
These steps mark the beginning of a new chapter in welfare and healthcare delivery in Kalyana Karnataka. Our focus remains on ensuring that every citizen has access to emergency services and quality treatment without delay, Siddaramaiah stated. The region, which has historically lagged behind in healthcare facilities, is now seeing rapid changes through targeted investments and public health schemes. Officials added that the ambulances are fitted with advanced life-support systems, ensuring critical care during transit, especially in rural areas where access to hospitals is limited. While the announcement has been welcomed by many, some citizens have voiced concerns on social media, urging the government to address related issues such as poor road conditions and pending recruitments in government health services. Authorities, however, assured that comprehensive measures are underway to address these challenges.
