MLA Ramdas inaugurated vaccination programme for 12 to 14 years children, at SMT Hospital in Krishnaraja constituency on 16th March.
The vaccination programme has started throughout the country today. Till date 180 crore vaccination has been completed and India is in forefront in this. 1.37 lakh children in the district will be provided vaccine. There is an information regarding emergence of another wave in China. By understanding this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided to provide vaccination to children in the age group of 12 to 14 years. Many projects have been initiated in the current budget of central and state government. It is planned to organize a seminar for 10th standard students about budget. The state government has announced a special child budget this time. An amount of Rs 34 thousand crore is reserved in the budget for this. Children’s health and education has been given importance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also announced the budget based on 17 sustainable development goal of UNO. In the state budget, along with child budget gender budget is also announced.
The government is undertaking cochlear implantation for children having severe ear problems. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given Jan Aushadi for the country. When I was the minister for the first time, had started10 generic drug stores in Karnataka, which was a first step in the country. Last week, the prime minister had spoken to 5 beneficiaries in selected Jan aushadi centres. He had called to give awareness through social media about the Jan Aushadi centres. A special health awareness programme is scheduled to be conducted on Friday for street side vendors, various Women societies, Ramdas said.
