A youth living in a rented house in Kuthar Santoshnagar in Ullal here died by suicide on Tuesday March 15 night. This tragic incident happened on the night of Tuesday and the victim was Deekshith (19) from Kudkorigudde.
Deekshith was alone in his house when he hanged himself. He was employed in a private entity. On Tuesday he had worked for his employers. A case relating to this death was registered in Ullal police station.
Deekshith belonged to a family which earlier lived In Kudkorigudde, Kankanady bypass. The family had started to live in a rented house in Santosh Nagar for the last sometime. The police have claimed that he ended his life because of failed love life.
On Tuesday, Deekshith was with his mother in the house of a relative at Kuthar till the evening. He then left, telling his mother that he would be back after visiting his house. At night, it was found that Deekshith had hanged himself from a ceiling fan of his rented house.
Deekshith was working for a private hospital in Deralakatte. He is survived by mother and a brother.
