Officials Directed to Boost Urban Projects and Improve Bengaluru Civic Services

In a significant administrative meeting on Friday at the Malleswaram IPP Centre, Tushar Giri Nath, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Urban Development, held discussions with senior officials on various civic and developmental issues across the Greater Bengaluru area. The meeting focused on reviewing ongoing projects, identifying critical bottlenecks, and providing necessary directives to streamline city development efforts.

Several key officials were present, including Special Commissioners Muneesh Maudgil, Vikas Kishore Surolekar, Dr. K. Harish Kumar, and Preeti Gehlot. The CEO of B.G.N.I. Regulation, Karigoud, along with Municipal Commissioners Rajendra Cholan, Ramesh D.S., and Pommal Sunil Kumar, attended the session. Additional dignitaries included Ramesh K.N., Dr. K.V. Rajendra, Joint Police Commissioners of the Traffic Department Kartik Reddy, and Additional Commissioners Latha R., Snehal Sudhakar Lokhande, Digvijay Bodke, and Naveen Kumar Raju. Technical Director Bismail and other chief engineers and officials from various departments also participated.

During the meeting, Nath emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination to ensure timely project execution and improved public services. Officials were instructed to monitor key urban infrastructure projects, traffic management strategies, and municipal services to enhance the quality of life for residents. The discussions also addressed future plans for sustainable development, effective waste management, and strengthening civic administration. The session concluded with clear directives for each department, highlighting accountability, regular progress reporting, and proactive problem-solving measures to ensure that the developmental initiatives across Greater Bengaluru are implemented efficiently and effectively.
