Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade held a series of high-level meetings in the national capital on Monday, engaging with the country’s top leadership.
Bagade first met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence. The Prime Minister’s Office shared photographs of the interaction on X, describing it as part of the Governor’s ongoing engagement with the Centre. Though details of their discussion were not disclosed, officials said it highlighted coordination between state and central leadership.
Later, the Governor paid a courtesy call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Their conversation touched upon matters relating to Rajasthan’s development and welfare programmes. Officials stressed that the Governor’s role as a bridge between the state and Centre was underlined during the meeting.
Governor Bagade also met Union Minister of State for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal. During their interaction, they discussed issues of national and state importance. On this occasion, Bagade presented Meghwal with “Abhyudaya Ki Or”, a book marking his first year as Rajasthan Governor. The gesture symbolised his effort to document achievements and highlight initiatives undertaken during his tenure.
All three meetings—with the President, Prime Minister, and Union Minister—were described as courtesy calls aimed at maintaining regular dialogue with the central leadership.
Officials noted that the Governor’s visit comes as Rajasthan is preparing major initiatives in governance, infrastructure, and welfare. His consultations in Delhi are seen as a step toward ensuring stronger Centre-state cooperation in addressing challenges and advancing development priorities.
