Miss Universe India 2025, Manika Vishwakarma, has been chosen to play the role of Maa Sita in the grand annual event, Ayodhya Ramleela. Known as the world’s largest Ramleela, the production is a much-awaited celebration that attracts audiences from across the country.
The organisers, Subhash Malik (Bobby), founder-president, and Shubham Malik, founder-general secretary, have announced that this year’s edition will feature several well-known faces from the film and entertainment industry, making it even more special.
Manika, who hails from Rajasthan and will represent India at the upcoming Miss Universe 2025 contest, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity. In a video shared by the team, she said, I always wanted to visit Ayodhya, but it kept getting delayed. Now, with Shri Ram’s blessings, I will be going there as Sita, which feels very special. This year has already brought me many blessings, and getting the chance to play Maa Sita in the world’s biggest Ramleela is truly an honor.
The cast of this year’s performance is star-studded. Puneet Issar will portray Parshuram, Manoj Tiwari will be seen as Bali, Ravi Kishan will play Kevat, and Rajesh Puri will appear as Hanumanji. Actor Manish Sharma will once again play Ravan, while Rahul Gucchar will step into the role of Ram. Other roles include Raza Murad as Meghanad, Avtar Gill as Raja Janak, Rakesh Bedi as Vibhishan, and Rajan Modi as Lakshman.
The Ayodhya Ramleela will be staged at Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya from September 22 to October 2, offering audiences ten days of cultural and spiritual storytelling on a magnificent scale.
