The Karnataka state government has issued an important order in this regard after it was noticed that photos and videos are being shot and shared on social media while on duty in government offices. According to the new order of the state government, unauthorized photo clicking or video recording by private persons during working hours in government offices has been banned.

This order will be followed in all government offices of the state i.e. village, taluk, district and state-level government offices. Some of the public who arrive at government offices while doing their work are shooting photos and videos inside the government office and posting them on social media.

This decision has been taken by the state government in view of the fact that the government employees are being harassed, especially the women employees.

By clicking photos and videos in government offices and misusing them on social media, the dignity of the government employee has been damaged. Due to this, the government has also noticed that women employees are facing problems. The government has given careful attention to this matter and it is necessary to restrict the public from taking photos and videos during the office hours of all the departments of the state government.
