80 Officers Pass Out From Air Force Technical College, Holds Graduation Parade

An elegant ceremonial Passing Out Parade(POP) of 208/21T/Permanent Commission & Short Service Commission / 98 Aeronautical Engineering Course was conducted at Air Force Technical College on 08 July 2022 in the pristine environment of Air Force Technical College. The College is the alma mater of all Aeronautical Engineers of the Indian Air Force and is presently commanded by Air Commodore Sameer Kalode. The Graduation Parade marked the culmination of 74 weeks of training (22 weeks training at Air Force Academy, Hyderabad and 52 weeks at Air Force Technical College in Aeronautical Engineering, Military Leadership, Managerial Skills and Ethos of an Air Warrior). The Graduation parade had 80 Officers.
Air Marshal Sandeep Singh, Vice Chief of the Air Staff was the Chief Guest for the event and reviewed the parade.
The Air Marshal, in his address, greeted all the Air Warriors, Civilians and Graduating Officers who were present during the event. He appreciated the prominent role being undertaken by the Engineering Officers of Indian Air Force to ensure the efficient functioning of military equipment, operational readiness of aircrafts and high standards of weapon systems both in the peace time and war fronts. During his speech he stirred up the young Officers to ameliorate their professional acumen and military skills throughout their Service by constantly updating their knowledge and enhancing their efficiency in the advanced technological domains.
He awarded trophies and medallions to the Officers who excelled in the course. The prestigious ‘President’s Plaque’ for the First in order of Combined Merit and the ‘Vice President’s Sword’ for the Best in professional subjects were awarded to Flying Officer Palak Mahajan.
