Dhanush has announced his upcoming film Captain Miller with director Arun Matheswaran, and the actor is excited to start the film. The film is reported to be a gangster drama set in the 1980s, and its title will have a connection with Dhanush’s character in the film. Dhanush will be seen in several avatars in the film, and the makers have planned to make the film a Pan-Indian release. Since the film’s story might connect the global audience, the makers have kept aside a huge budget for the film and this would be Dhanush most expensive film so far.
Unlike director Arun Matheswaran’s last two films Rocky and Saani Kayidham, Captain Miller will not be intense, and the film is perfectly shaped to be a commercial one. The shooting of the film will begin in the next few weeks, and the director has planned to shoot across locations in India for the film. Shreyas Krishna will be cranking the camera, while the music is to be scored by GV Prakash Kumar.
Dhanush is currently shooting for Vaathi aka Sir with Venky Atluri, and the film is inching close to a wrap-up. The busy actor has also completed the filming for Naane Varuven, which is directed by Selvaragahvan, and the film’s post-production work is progressing steadily.
