Actor Prashanth rose to prominence in the 1990s, and had a great run with some impressive films. After which the actor took a sabbatical from the films and is now set to make his comeback with Andhagan, the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Andhadhun. Now, the latest report is that Prashanth is set to do a sequel to this film, which is titled Winner 2. Prashanth has recently visited the famous Subramanisamy temple in Tiruchendur to seek blessings. While addressing the press at the temple, Prashanth said that Andhagan will be released soon, and he confirmed that he will start shooting for Winner 2, which will be bigger than the first part.
Fans are excited about Prashanth’s plan of making Winner 2 as the first part of the film is an out-and-out entertainer. Sundar C’s directorial Winner features Prashanth and Kiran Rathod in lead roles with Vadivelu in a comic role. Prashanth and Vadivelu comedy scenes in the film are highly enjoyable, and they also laid the platform for the film’s huge success.
The shooting of Andhagan has been wrapped up, and there has been no update about the film from the makers for a long time.
