Accused Files ‘False’ Complaint Of Extortion, Threat

An incident took place in city where the accused who tried to extort with knife went to the police and filed a complaint saying, he was attacked with knife. The case has been filed in Sadashivanagar Police Station.
On June 24 night, the accused Tabrej and Tauseef pointed a knife at a man who was walking on the road near MS Ramaiah Nagar.Later, they tried to escape by stealing his mobile phone and bike. The owner of the bike chased the accused and beat him up. Meanwhile, members of the public also beat up the accused and later handed them over to the police who came to the spot.
But the accused Tabrej has lodged a complaint with the police station against the public who caught him. He was beaten and assaulted by three unknown persons and complained to the Sadashivnagar police station to take appropriate action. On the permission of the court, the Sadashivnagar police station also registered an FIR based on the complaint filed by the accused.
