RRR nominated under the Best film category in Hollywood

Successful Telugu film director SS. Rajamoulis latest film RRR is reportedly doing wonders abroad, especially in the USA. Several Americans were going gaga over the films action sequences, storyline and dance moves by its lead stars Jr.NTR and Ramcharan. Now the film is said to have added one more feather to its cap by getting nominated under the Best Picture category in the Hollywood critics Association Best movies 2022 nominees list. RRR is said to be the only Indian movie to have made it to the HCA mid-season awards.
The film will reportedly compete with Hollywood biggies such as Top Gun: Maverick, The Batman, and other happening movies in the below list.
The period action film minted over Rs 1200 crores at the world box office and is currently streaming digitally on international OTT platforms.
RRR is a fictional story about two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Jr NTR) and their fight against the British Raj. The film is set in 1920 that explores the undocumented period in the lives of the above revolutionaries who chose to go into oblivion before they began to fight for their country.
