Veteran Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Gopichand Malineni are currently working on their upcoming project tentatively titled NBK111. Latest reports now suggest that actress Kajal Aggarwal has replaced Nayanthara as the female lead in the film.
According to media reports, Nayanthara is no longer part of the project and Kajal Aggarwal has officially joined the cast. Reports also claim that Kajal has already started shooting for the movie. The makers reportedly believe that her pairing with Balakrishna will appear fresh and appealing to audiences.
Sources say there were several reasons behind the change in casting. Nayanthara had reportedly demanded a very high remuneration close to ten crore rupees. The team also faced scheduling difficulties in matching her shooting dates. Another reported issue was her limited participation in movie promotions, which created concerns for the production team.
Earlier, the makers had officially announced Nayanthara’s involvement in the film through a birthday special social media post. The message described her as a powerful presence entering the world of NBK111 and wished her on her birthday.
Meanwhile, reports suggest Kajal Aggarwal agreed to adjust her shooting dates according to the production schedule. Her remuneration reportedly matched the film’s budget plans, and she is also expected to support promotional activities for the movie.
NBK111 is said to be a commercial action entertainer packed with mass appeal elements. The team has already completed an important shooting schedule featuring action scenes. Discussions are currently underway regarding the film’s final title and another possible heroine. The makers are reportedly planning to release the movie before the end of this year.
