CM Siddaramaiah visits Minister Sudhakar in hospital

As per sources, Sudhakar’s health deteriorated following complications from a recent knee surgery

Karnataka Planning and Statistics Minister D Sudhakar is reported to be in critical condition and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit at KIMS Hospital.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the hospital to assess the minister’s health and consult with doctors.

According to medical sources, Sudhakar’s health deteriorated following complications from a recent knee surgery.

He reportedly developed a severe lung infection after the procedure, which worsened over time. Initially, he was being treated at Manipal Hospital, but as his condition declined further, he was shifted to KIMS Hospital in Electronic City four days ago for advanced care.

Doctors treating the minister have indicated that the lung infection has become severe, making his condition critical. He is currently under constant monitoring in the intensive care unit, where a team of specialists is providing round-the-clock treatment. Hospital authorities have described his condition as serious and concerning, though they continue to make every effort to stabilize him.

During his visit, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah held detailed discussions with the medical team overseeing Sudhakar’s treatment. He sought updates on the minister’s health progress and the course of treatment being administered. After meeting the doctors, the Chief Minister also interacted with Sudhakar’s family members, offering them reassurance and emotional support during this difficult time.

Several prominent political leaders accompanied the Chief Minister during the visit, including Zameer Ahmed Khan and former minister Goolihatti Shekhar. In light of the high-profile visits, tight security arrangements were put in place around the hospital premises to manage the situation.

Meanwhile, supporters and well-wishers of Minister Sudhakar have been expressing concern over his health and are praying for his speedy recovery. Messages of support have been pouring in from across the state, reflecting the widespread concern for the ailing minister.
