The bus, which was travelling from Shahapur to Bidar, collided with an oncoming fuel tanker at a curve near the college. The impact of the crash severely damaged the front portion of the bus. Local residents and passersby rushed to the spot and helped rescue the injured passengers, who were trapped inside the bus. The victims were immediately shifted to the Government Hospital in Shahapur by ambulance.

Officials said that three persons are in serious condition and are undergoing treatment. Fortunately, no fuel leakage occurred from the tanker, averting a potential major disaster.
