Senior naturopathy doctor Dr. Satish Hombali is in bereavement following the death of his mother, Jayashree M. Hombali (88), who passed away on April 11 due to age-related illness.
Family members said the elderly woman breathed her last peacefully at her residence. She is survived by two sons, including Dr. Satish Hombali, and two daughters.
Her funeral is scheduled to take place on April 12 at 7 am. The procession will begin from her residence at the first junction in Siddalinga Nagar and proceed to the cremation ground.
Several leaders and public figures expressed their condolences over her demise. Among those who paid tribute were Law Minister H.K. Patil, former MLA D.R. Patil, and officials from various religious and social organizations.
Community leaders and well-wishers remembered Jayashree Hombali as a respected family elder and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family during their time of grief.
