Blurb: Responding to the MP’s special request, Mangaluru SEZ Limited supplied six electric wheelchairs, a wheelchair-to-scooter conversion device, and an advanced endoskeletal prosthesis to improve daily mobility and independence for persons with disabilities.

A distribution programme for advanced assistive devices to persons with disabilities was held at the office of the Dakshina Kannada Member of Parliament on Sunday.
MP Capt.BrijeshChowta personally handed over high-quality electric wheelchairs and other essential mobility aids to eligible beneficiaries. The event took place in the presence of Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian.
Acting on the MP’s special appeal, Mangaluru SEZ Limited (MSEZL) provided these devices under its 2025-26 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. The items included six state-of-the-art electric wheelchairs, one ‘Neo Fly and Neo Bolt’ conversion kit that transforms a wheelchair into a scooter, and one advanced ‘EndoliteSymes Prosthesis’ (artificial limb).
Speaking on the occasion, MP Capt. BrijeshChowta said that such modern equipment is extremely important for specially-abled individuals to live independently and with dignity in society. He commended MSEZL for responding positively to his request and supplying top-quality, advanced devices to beneficiaries in the district, describing the gesture as exemplary and worthy of appreciation.
Also present at the programme were MSEZL CEO Suryanarayan, Head of Operations EetaSrinivasalu, Panibhushan, Yogesh, JayaprakashSoorinje, and other officials from the organisation.
