As per the latest Tollywood grapevine, ‘Gabbar Singh’ director Harish Shankar will reportedly will be working on Ajay Devgan’s 2018 Hindi Film Raid’ in Telugu. Harish Shankar has also reportedly visited Mumbai for the preproduction work of the same. He reportedly met the concerned Bollywood team for the same.
The makers are reportedly looking out for an apt hero and other cast and crew for the above subject. Harish Shankar is currently busy with the Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bhavadeeyudu Bhagatsingh’ in his second collaboration with the powerstar, earlier he worked with him in ‘Gabbar Singh’ a Telugu remake of Hindi Dabangg.
Raid is a 2018 Hindi crime film based on the real-life income-tax raids conducted by officers of the Tax Department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s. It is reportedly distinguished as the longest raid in Indian history that lasted for three days and two nights.
The film has been written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and it was backed by T Series and Panorama Studios. Ajay Devgan, Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla played the lead roles in the film which was a blockbuster success at the Bollywood box office minting more than 150 crores.
