Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has expressed deep emotion as he completes his final collaboration with Thalapathy Vijay for the actor’s last film, Jana Nayagan. In a recent interview with Sun News, Anirudh said the re-recording work is progressing at full speed and added that scoring for Vijay’s final film carries both pride and sadness. There is an emotional weight because this is Vijay sir’s last film. We are trying to reflect that feeling through the music and background score, he said.
The film’s grand audio launch is set for December 27 at the Open Stadium in Malaysia, and Anirudh has promised that the event will be explosive. He said the energy from fans in Malaysia will make the evening unforgettable, especially since this marks Vijay’s final audio launch as an actor. Anirudh is preparing a special medley celebrating his journey with Vijay, featuring songs from Kaththi, Master, Beast, Leo, and the new tracks from Jana Nayagan. This is my tribute to Thalapathy, he said.
Fans are eagerly waiting for the event, calling it an emotional milestone. Many believe thousands will be moved to tears as the audio launch closes, marking the end of the popular Vijay–Anirudh musical partnership.
Anirudh also shared updates on his upcoming projects. He revealed that the shooting of Arasan has begun and that the film’s music will take a year to complete. He noted that despite composing only 39 albums in 14 years, global fan support motivates him to keep pushing forward. He added that songs for Jailer 2 are almost ready, promising more major releases next year.
