Belagavi
In Belagavi, the executive committee meeting of the Karnataka State High School Assistant Teachers’ Association (R), Bengaluru, was held at the Government Employees’ Bhavan under the leadership of State President Siddabasappa Navar. During the session, Dr. Shekhar Halasagi, a teacher at KPM Government High School and a well-known organizer, was unanimously chosen as the new president of the Kittur Taluk High School Assistant Teachers’ Association. He was formally honored and felicitated on the occasion.
State General Secretary Devaraje Gowda, Basanagouda Konati, District In-charge President Panduranga Pandave, S.S. Malagali, K.S. Talawar, B.D. Haligeppanavar, Dharwad District President Bhajantri, Praveen Patil, Parvata Gowdar, Praveen Hosur, Manju Kajagar from Khanapur, and office-bearers from Ramdurg and Belagavi City Taluk were present.
In their presence, the selection was finalized and later approved and announced by District General Secretary Ashok Khota. The meeting highlighted the collective support of members and recognized Dr. Halasagi’s contributions to academic and organizational activities, marking a new leadership phase for the Kittur Taluk unit of the association.
