India’s Rohan Bopanna and his Australian doubles partner, Matthew Ebden, have been seeded sixth at the prestigious ATP Finals. The pair is placed in the Bob Bryan Group, where they will begin their campaign on Monday against the fourth-seeded Italian duo, Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori.

The ATP Finals bring together the top eight singles players and doubles teams of the season, concluding the year’s tennis calendar. The tournament will run from November 11 to 17.

Joining Bopanna and Ebden in the Bob Bryan Group are the German pair Kevin Krawietz/Tim Puetz and the Croatian-El Salvadorian team Marcelo Arevalo/Mate Pavic. The event’s other group is named after Mike Bryan, celebrating the legacy of the Bryan brothers, who dominated doubles tennis for years.

The format sees the top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, adding intensity to each match as the best teams battle it out to end the season on a high note.
