Dead bodies of couple found in decomposed state

The decomposed bodies of a couple were found in a farm house called Chauvan on the Madabavi road in the outskirts of Athani.
Nana Saheb Babu Chouhan (58) and Jayashree Nana Saheb Chouhan (50) are the dead couple.
Police suspect that he might have died about five or six days ago. Neighbors informed the Athani police as foul smell was coming from around the house.
Athani DySP Prashant Munnolli, Circle Inspector of Police Santosh Hallur, their staff, Health Officer Basanagowda Kage and the staff visited the place and inspected.
A case has been registered at the Athani Police Station. The exact cause of death of the couple is not known.
