Srinidhi, a first-year PU student, and Bhoomika, a first-year BE student, are now the proud owners of a new house named Kriparanga in Sankadi, Heradi, Brahmavar taluk. This house was sponsored by Panambur Vasudev Aithal to celebrate his 60th birthday, and the sisters are beneficiaries of the Yakshagana Kalaranga’s Vidyaposhak scheme.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Aithal and his wife, Meenakshi V. Aithal, who underscored the importance of giving back to society. He emphasized that students from reputable organizations like Kalaranga should contribute to their communities as a way of expressing gratitude.

MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi, who presided over the event, praised the members of Yakshagana Kalaranga for their selfless commitment to social welfare, highlighting the need for recognition of their efforts.

Murali Kadekar, Secretary of Yakshagana Kalaranga, shared that the house was rebuilt at a cost of Rs 6 lakh after the previous structure was destroyed by a fallen tree. Remarkably, the reconstruction was completed in just 80 days, setting a new record for the organization. This house marks the 55th construction project undertaken by Yakshagana Kalaranga with the support of various donors.

Kalaranga President M. Gangadhar Rao, along with Vice Presidents S.V. Bhat, P. Kishan Hegde, and V.G. Shetty, were also present at the ceremony.
