Fulfill demands of GP employees: BY Vijayendra

BJP State President and MLA BY Vijayendra has demanded that the employees of all Gram Panchayats of the state are on strike with many fair demands and it should be fulfilled.

The employees of 11 groups of Gram Panchayats are conducting an indefinite sit-in satyagraha in the Zilla Panchayat office premises. Gram panchayat services have been suspended across the state. Priyank Kharge, Panchayat Raj Minister of the state has noticed this and demanded to solve the problem immediately.

All the employees, including the PDOs, are on strike for the fourth time and the resolutions of the thrice-held meeting have not been fulfilled, said the office bearers of the union. The association had presented 28 demands to the government. There is an objection that this government has not fulfilled even a single demand.  It has been pointed out that thousands of employees had protested in Bangalore.

The Panchayat employees have also given a deadline of intense struggle from October 11. If this struggle intensifies, waterman and computer service will also be stopped. Problems will worsen in rural areas. Therefore, the government should resolve the various demands of Gram Panchayat employees through negotiation; He also said that the Chief Minister should intervene and instruct the Ministers to solve the problem in order to avoid the problem of the people.
