Rewari

During a rally in Rewari on Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for spreading misinformation about the Agniveer program. Shah emphasized that Haryana is a region known for its bravery and sacrifice, asserting that it is the BJP’s duty to ensure jobs for Agniveers from the state. He promised that every Agniveer in Haryana would receive a pensionable job from both the Central and Haryana governments, countering Gandhi’s claims.

Shah highlighted the BJP-led government’s commitment to equitable development in Haryana over the past decade, stating that corruption has significantly decreased and that the middlemen are eager for a Congress return to power. He urged voters to reject the Congress, which he accused of fostering corruption and benefiting only select districts during their rule.

Shah reminded the audience of the Congress’s historical failures, stating that for 40 years, promises made to the Armed Forces were not fulfilled until Prime Minister Modi implemented ‘One Rank, One Pension.’ He further dismissed any chance of the Congress reinstating Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Appealing to farmers, Shah assured them that the BJP government would purchase their crops under the Minimum Support Price system. He concluded by highlighting the safety and security of the nation, attributing it to the bravery of Haryana’s soldiers as the state prepares for the Assembly elections on October 5.
