As the Border-Gavaskar Trophy approaches, Australian star Marnus Labuschagne shared his thoughts on facing Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj for the first time. The series, which starts on November 22 with the first Test at Perth, has seen India recently dominate, winning the last four series, including two in Australia.

India has won the Border-Gavaskar Trophy ten times, while Australia has claimed it five times, with their last victory in the 2014-15 season. Australia’s last series win in India was back in 2004-05.

Labuschagne, speaking to source, recalled his first encounter with Siraj. I’ve always enjoyed facing Mohammed Siraj. We first met at the MRF Academy in 2015-16, where we played against each other. It’s been great to see his career progress. Siraj brings immense passion, energy, and love for the game. It’s been interesting to see our careers evolve from such different beginnings, Labuschagne said.

The series will continue with the second Test from December 6 to 10 at Adelaide Oval, featuring a day-night format. Following that, the action moves to The Gabba in Brisbane for the third Test from December 14 to 18. The Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from December 26 to 30 will be a key highlight, with the series concluding at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3 to 7.
