A NEET aspirant from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, was found dead in Kota, Rajasthan, officials confirmed on Thursday. The student, identified as 21-year-old Parshuram from Manpur in Barsana, was discovered hanging in his rented room by his landlord on Wednesday. The landlord alerted the authorities, and police arrived around 11:30 p.m. They took Parshuram down and transported his body to MBS Hospital. His family arrived in Kota on Thursday for the postmortem.
Parshuram had been preparing for the NEET exam in Kota for three years. Although he improved his score from 490 to 647, he was reportedly stressed due to recent controversies surrounding the exam. His uncle, Chatar Singh, mentioned that Parshuram had been in Kota for three years and had been in regular contact with his family. He last spoke to his father and brother, expressing that he wasn’t feeling well before his death. Police are investigating the case further.
