UTT 2024: Puneri Paltan aim for swift bounce-back against Jaipur Patriots

In the Ultimate Table Tennis 2024, the bottom-placed Puneri Paltan Table Tennis face a challenging game against debutants Jaipur Patriots in the first match of Sunday’s double-header at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Both teams are struggling, with 19 points from three matches each, and both need a win to boost their standings.

In the second match, Dabang Delhi TTC, currently leading the table with 33 points from four matches, will try to maintain their top spot against the second-placed PBG Bengaluru Smashers, who have 32 points from three games.

The match between Puneri Paltan and Jaipur Patriots is expected to feature exciting clashes, including a potential duel between the young talent Ankur Bhattacharjee and South Korean player Cho Seung-min. Pune’s hopes rest on Ayhika Mukherjee’s performance. In the evening, Dabang Delhi TTC’s match against PBG Bengaluru Smashers will be highly anticipated, with Thailand’s Orawan Paranang set to face world No. 25 Manika Batra, and Sathiyan G squaring off against Spanish player Alvaro Robles.
