Narayanpur

In an ongoing encounter in the dense Abujhmad forests of Narayanpur district, three female Naxalites have been killed. A significant cache of weapons and Naxal-related materials has been seized. IG Bastar P. Sundarraj reported that the clash began around 8:00 AM and involves the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF), and Border Security Force (BSF). The operation was prompted by intelligence on Maoist activity near the Narayanpur-Kanker border. The bodies of the three armed women have been recovered, and all security personnel are safe. The search continues, with more details pending.
