The Haryana government announced that it has finalized all arrangements to ensure the safe travel of devotees participating in the Kanwar Yatra, which starts on July 22. A government spokesperson stated that many devotees will travel via the Yamunanagar route. Officials from various departments have been directed to prioritize the safety of the Kawariyas. Police personnel will be stationed on key routes, and the department will maintain high vigilance to uphold law and order throughout the event.
The Kanwar Yatra will run from July 22 to August 2, and the government is closely monitoring the situation. Preparations in the Yamunanagar district have been reviewed thoroughly. The spokesperson emphasized that the police have been instructed to focus on preventing traffic disruptions, and duty magistrates will be assigned across the district.
Additionally, camps for Kawariyas will be set up 200 feet from the road on the left side of the Haridwar-Saharanpur highway. Devotees are advised to complete their registration for these camps in advance.
