The National Testing Agency (NTA) is currently finalizing the announcement of results for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG), with the date to be communicated soon, according to the University Grants Commission (UGC). The CUET-UG results, originally slated for release on June 30 as per NTA’s information bulletin, were not disclosed on the scheduled date, and there has been no official update from NTA since then.

Responding to queries about the CUET-UG results, UGC chief Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar stated, NTA is working on finalizing the results date and will notify it shortly.

CUET-UG is the primary entrance examination for undergraduate programs across 46 Central universities. This year’s exam, conducted from May 15 to May 31, encompassed both online and pen-and-paper formats, overseen by NTA on behalf of the UGC.

The delay in result declaration not only affects university admissions but also follows recent controversies over alleged irregularities in exams like NEET-UG and UGC-NET. These issues have prompted the Centre to establish a committee ensuring transparent, smooth, and fair conduct of NTA examinations.

Amid uncertainties caused by exam cancellations and postponements, students await new schedules from NTA, which are expected to alleviate their concerns and provide clarity regarding admissions and future academic plans.
