Actress Kalki Koechlin, who appeared in the streaming film ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, will soon star in the Tamil movie ‘Nesippaya’. In this film, she plays Indira, a lawyer from Portugal, who has a crucial role in the story.
Kalki previously made a brief appearance in the Tamil film ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ with Ajith Kumar. However, ‘Nesippaya’ will showcase her in a more significant role. This romantic drama promises to add another intriguing character to her impressive list of performances.
The film marks the return of acclaimed director Vishnuvardhan to Tamil cinema. Known for his powerful storytelling, his return is eagerly awaited. The movie also features Akash Murali in his debut lead role, with Aditi Shankar playing the female lead.
Besides this project, Kalki is also working on an international film called ‘Her Story’. The shoot is taking place in Antichan-des-Frotignes in the Pyrenees. In this film, she plays Olivia, a self-critical American writer from New York with French roots. Olivia returns to write about her grandmother’s life, blending past and future as the Covid pandemic unfolds.
