The musical thriller series Chamak is set to return to SonyLIV with its second part, Chamak: The Conclusion, on August 16. Created and directed by Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, the first part premiered on the streaming platform in December 2023.
In this new installment, Paramvir Singh Cheema’s character, Kaala, embarks on a determined quest for revenge after uncovering the truth about his father’s death. According to a press release from SonyLIV, Kaala is set on reclaiming his late father’s legacy, facing increasing tensions and an intensified conflict that raises the stakes higher than ever.
The first season of Chamak followed Kaala, a young aspiring rapper, who returns to Punjab from Canada to investigate the death of Taara Singh, a legendary singer who was killed during a packed performance.
The series also stars Manoj Pahwa, Mohit Malik, Isha Talwar, Mukesh Chhabra, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder (Vicky) Pal, and Akasa Singh. Gippy Garewal makes a special appearance in the show. Chamak is produced by Geetanjali Mehelwa Chauhan, Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, and Sumeet Dubey.
