After a meeting with director James Gunn on the set of ‘Superman: Legacy’, actor Chris Pratt hinted that he might join the DC Universe (DCU). Pratt remained secretive about the potential role he would play, according to sources.
When asked if he would consider joining the DCU, Pratt responded, yes, of course. He added, if it could fit into my schedule and it made sense, I would love it. I love playing Star-Lord and hope for more opportunities there. I feel blessed to be considered for any role. If its right and the fans want it, I’d be happy to do it.
Gunn recently shared a photo of Pratt visiting the ‘Superman: Legacy’ set, captioned, Always nice to have friends visiting set. Pratt is well-known for his role as Peter Quill (Star-Lord) in Gunn’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ films and their sequels, as well as ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’.
Since taking over DC Studios with Peter Safran in 2022, Gunn has been working on ‘Superman: Legacy’, which will introduce a new DC Multiverse. The film stars David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen.
Gunn mentioned that a crossover between the MCU and DCU is more likely now, although it remains a distant possibility. He noted that discussions have been light and fun, focusing first on establishing the new direction for DC.
