Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress and Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, stated that the opposition is calling for a special debate on the NEET exam in the House.
Speaking to source on Friday, Kharge stated, Under Rule 267, we are demanding a special discussion on it in the House, and after that, we will state our demands.
Kharge caused a ruckus earlier in the day when he and other MPs entered the House well to draw the Chairman’s attention and demand a discussion of the NEET issue.
The Rajya Sabha Leader Jagdeep Dhankhar made the error, according to a source he spoke to as he entered the House well. I entered the house to get his attention. However, he wasn’t looking even then. I was attracting notice. He was focusing solely on the governing party. He should look at me when I call his attention as required by the rules, but he purposefully ignored me to make fun of me. What then remained for me? I would therefore need to either go inside or yell loudly in order to get attention. Thus, I will unequivocally state that Chairman Sahab made a mistake. I argue that he ought to refrain from doing this and uphold the Rajya Sabha’s honor.
Kharge stressed the significance of having a conversation about the NEET controversy, saying, Lots of kids are scared because of the large-scale frauds surrounding the NEET exam and the leaked paper. So, in order to highlight the issue of individuals, we requested a particular conversation.
