Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, and Udupi districts due to anticipated severe weather conditions. Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, and Shimoga districts have been placed under an orange alert, while Belagavi, Haveri, Dharwad, Hassan, and Mysore districts are under a yellow alert.
