Wipro 3D, Nikon SLM Solutions Join Hands To Boost Additive Manufacturing In India

A strategic agreement between Wipro 3D and Nikon SLM Solutions was established on Wednesday with the aim of expediting the adoption of additive manufacturing in India.
Through this collaboration, the companies hope to promote innovation, streamline production procedures, and encourage the national industry to widely use additive manufacturing.
Yathiraj Kasal, Business Head and General Manager at Wipro 3D, stated in a statement: We can significantly expand the adoption of additive manufacturing by leveraging our capabilities and extensive experience in implementing 3D printing solutions across various sectors.
He added that by creating innovative and cost-effective metal parts and systems domestically, this program will favorably impact Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The Nikon SLM 125, SLM 280 2.0, SLM 500, and SLM 800 are among the flexible range of cutting-edge metal additive manufacturing equipment offered by Nikon SLM Solutions.
According to the company, these systems are highly praised for their accuracy and fast build rates, which allow Indian manufacturers to construct complicated metal parts quickly and with great quality.
The goal of this collaboration is to promote innovation in high-precision sectors through additive manufacturing.
