In an unexpected turn of events,K. Sudhakar, the BJP candidate for the Chikkaballapur Lok Sabha constituency, clinched a resounding victory, securing the seat. In response to this triumph, Gopi, a prominent youth leader from JDS in Devanahalli, extended his congratulations to the voters, BJP, and JDS leaders, as well as the party workers.
Addressing the media in Devanahalli town on Sunday, Sudhakar expressed confidence in Narendra Modi’s leadership, predicting his re-election as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term. However, amidst the celebration, attention turned to Chikkaballapur MLA Pradeep Eshwar, who had pledged to resign if Dr. Sudhakar managed to secure even a one-vote lead in the constituency. With Dr. Sudhakar commanding a significant lead of 20941 votes, calls for Eshwar’s resignation have amplified.
Staying true to his word, Gopi demanded Eshwar’s resignation, citing the earlier commitment. He asserted that the development of the Lok Sabha constituency would be accelerated in the forthcoming days under Sudhakar’s leadership. Furthermore, Gopi commended the efforts of all NDA party leaders in Devanahalli taluk, who diligently apprised the voters of the alleged shortcomings of the Congress party, particularly highlighting its failure to deliver on development promises. Finally, he extended his appreciation to all the voters who exercised their franchise in the elections.
