The makers of director Vignesh Shivan’s upcoming film Love Insurance Kompany, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, have announced that the film will release on October 17 this Diwali. The romantic entertainer was originally scheduled for a September 18 release.
Rowdy Pictures, co-owned by Vignesh Shivan and actress Nayanthara, shared the news on X, writing, A Love Festival Loading this Diwali! LoveInsuranceKompany hitting the big screens on October 17th. Earlier this month, the release of the film’s first glimpse was postponed due to Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie audio launch, which was originally scheduled for August 1. Seven Screen Studio, another producer, confirmed the delay on Instagram, assuring fans that the teaser would arrive soon after the Coolie trailer and audio launch.
Fans are particularly excited as Pradeep Ranganathan has a perfect success record in Tamil cinema, with his recent film Dragon becoming a major blockbuster. Love Insurance Kompany marks another highly anticipated romantic outing, produced by Nayanthara herself.
Director Vignesh Shivan shared in April that post-production had begun, expressing gratitude to his team for their passion, honesty, and hard work. Every day of the shoot had challenges, but we never forgot to smile and enjoy the process, he said, emphasizing the effort to deliver a fresh and original film without compromising on quality.
The film also features S. J. Suryah and Gouri Kishen in pivotal roles. With cinematography by Ravivarman, music by Anirudh, editing by Pradeep Ragav, and stunts choreographed by Peter Hein, Love Insurance Kompany promises a festive treat this Diwali.
