Despite securing 39.37% of the votes, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) suffered a major setback in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, winning only 11 seats, a drastic decline from the 151 seats it won in the 2019 elections. The TDP-JSP-BJP alliance emerged victorious with a combined vote share of 55.32%, winning 164 seats, and displacing the YSRCP from power.

The TDP, contesting 144 seats, won 135 with a 45.60% vote share, while Jana Sena, led by Pawan Kalyan, achieved a 100% success rate, winning all 21 seats it contested with a 6.86% vote share. The BJP secured eight out of 10 seats it contested with a 2.86% vote share.

In the 2019 elections, the YSRCP had dominated, winning 151 seats with a 49.95% vote share, while the TDP trailed with 23 seats and a 39.17% vote share. This time, the TDP won 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats it contested, and the BJP, contesting six seats, secured three. The YSRCP’s vote share in Lok Sabha polls was higher than the TDP’s, but it won fewer seats, highlighting the complexities of electoral dynamics.
