Bengaluru City Police were invited to participate in the World Environment Day Celebration held on Wednesday near DCP CAR South, parade ground. The event marked the launch of a significant initiative – the 1 Crore Tree Plantation Drive starting from Wednesday, led by the Police Department, Bengaluru, in association with Go Green Revolution, A Common Man’s Initiative, and the Bruhat Bengaluru Forest Department BBMP.
The event saw the presence of esteemed Chief Guest B. Dayananda, IPS, Police Commissioner of Bengaluru City, and Special Guest A N Yellappa Reddy, Renowned Environmentalist, Bengaluru. Their participation underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting environmental conservation and sustainability.
